SANCTUARY is lucky number seven in the series. When an Israeli diamond dealer and his wife are murdered in their posh home, the homicides take Decker and Rina to New York and onto Israel. I had a good time researching this novel. It included a trip to the holy land with my daughter, Rachel, and exploration of the bourse, the diamond exchange in Tel Aviv.

GRIEVOUS SIN continues as the sixth of my series novels, featuring the birth of Decker and Rina’s daughter, Hannah Rose. While Rina is recuperating in the hospital from unexpected surgery, a young nurse and a newborn baby disappear. The theme deals with the agony of childlessness and the pathological need for attention and to be loved.

FALSE PROPHET is the fifth Decker/Rina novel. It explores LA’s obsession with the superficiality, the charismatic quality of cults, people with secrets and extreme family dysfunction.

MILK AND HONEY goes back to my series character, number 3 if you’re counting. Decker finds a child wandering loose and alone in the middle of the night. His investigations points him to the discovery of the tot’s murdered parents and some very strange people in a rural bee keeping community. While researching this novel, I learned how beekeepers use smoke to get bees to leave their hives. This information came in very handy when I discovered that bees had set up shop in my fireplace.

SACRED AND PROFANE continues with my series characters, Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus. This novel was darker and longer than my first book, THE RITUAL BATH, and features Decker investigating the murder of skeletal remains. In this disturbing story, Peter has a crisis of faith, but Rina and his Decker’s teacher, Rabbi Schulman help replant his feet back on the ground.

RITUAL BATH is my first novel and the introduction of my series characters, Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus. The rape of a young, religious woman brings Peter Decker into a religious, but foreign world and introduces him to the comely Rina Lazarus. My duo was much younger, but then again so was I.

THE GARDEN OF EDEN and other CRIMINAL DELIGHTS is my first book of short stories. The anthology features 17 stories including two new Decker/Rina stories written specifically for the collection. Also of note is two short stories co-authored with my children – The luck of the Draw with Rachel and Ilana Kellerman, and Mummy and Jack with Jesse Kellerman.
